XP, Levels & Streaks
Wambai turns personal finance into a rewarding habit. Every financial action earns you XP (Experience Points), which level you up and unlock achievements.
Earning XP
You earn XP for activities that build your financial health:

XP Multipliers
Longer streaks and special conditions boost your XP:

| Weekend activity (Sat/Sun) | 1.3x |
| Active household (5+ members) | 1.2x |
Multipliers stack, so a weekend transaction during a 30-day streak earns significantly more XP.
Level System
Your XP accumulates into levels across four tiers:

| Beginner | 1-10 | 0 - 1,000 XP |
| Intermediate | 11-25 | 1,001 - 5,000 XP |
| Advanced | 26-50 | 5,001 - 15,000 XP |
| Master | 51-100 | 15,001 - 50,000+ XP |
There are 100 levels total. Each level requires progressively more XP.
Streaks
A streak counts consecutive days where you log at least one transaction. It's the simplest and most powerful habit tracker.
How Streaks Work
- Log a transaction on any given day, and your streak continues.
- Miss a day, and it resets to zero.
- Longer streaks earn higher XP multipliers.
Streak Freeze
Life happens. Wambai gives you 1 streak freeze per month. If you miss a day, the freeze automatically protects your streak. You'll see the freeze status on your profile.
Streak Milestones
Hitting certain streak milestones unlocks special achievements:
- 7 days — "Week Warrior" achievement.
- 30 days — "Monthly Master" achievement.
- 100 days — "Century Keeper" achievement.
- 365 days — "Year of Discipline" achievement.
Viewing Your Stats
Go to Profile to see your:
- Current level and XP progress bar.
- Current streak count.
- Total transactions logged.
- Streak freeze availability.
- Recent XP history with a detailed audit trail.
Tips
- Log something every day — Even a small transaction keeps your streak alive.
- Save your streak freeze — Don't waste it early in the month.
- Weekend bonuses — Log transactions on weekends for 1.3x XP.
- Build gradually — Consistency matters more than volume. 10 XP every day beats 200 XP once a month.
